In the recent past General Motors Corporation, USA, the largest diseal-electric locomotive manufacturer of the world, has decided to vendorise its gears and pinions requirement outside USA. In the process of potential manufacturer in India. Sample Assessment, GGAG has been selected as the prominent locomotive transmission gears manufacturer in India. Sample order is placed on GGAG, which is under process.

GGAG is expecting orders worth of US $ 3 million orders initially and US $ 6 million from this customer.

Apart from this GGAG is also catering to automotive replaceable market abroad. Pilot batches of Hydraulic Gear pumps and Gear Box housings for Mercedes Benz trucks are well accepted and GGAG is in the process to expecting a business of US $ 0.65 million initially and to reach US $ 3 million from this market.

Diseal Component works (DCW) of Patiala, Ministry of Railways has approached the Company to get the job work of traction motor pinion and bull gear machining done. The value of the order is expected to be Rs.100 lacs annually.

GGAG has produced a trial export order from WKT of Latin America. The company has obtained the initial trial order of 38 diseal engines valued at US $ 11,000. The Company will be supplying these materials against the letters of credit and the company expects orders to the tune of US $ 5 million annually.

The Company is expecting to export more of such diseal engines to other countries also in Latin America.
