In September 1995, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) recognised and certified GGAG as a quality loco gear manufacturer. We are supplying Rs.80 million worth of gears and pinions to Indian Railways and OEM and are expecting Rs.100 million orders in 2003-04. GGAG has produced a trial export order from WKT of Latin America. The company has obtained the initial trial order of 38 diseal engines valued at US $ 11,000.

G.G Automotive Gears Limited (GGAG) was established in February 1974 for manufacturing of gearbox housings for automobile load carriers. In 1979, a need arose in Indian Railways to indigenise gears and pinions of electric locomotives. GGAG proposed to meet the requirement and started heading towards the development of gears and pinions for Indian Railways.
